Planning, Design & Research (PDR) Engineers, Inc. is a small,
minority firm that was established in 1979 as a Tennessee corporation. The corporate headquarters is
located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Its goal is
to provide professional consulting services to municipal, governmental,
institutional, residential, commercial and educational clients. These
include professional engineers, a Certified Industrial Hygienist,
industrial hygienists, professional geologists, drillers, environmental
technicians and support personnel.
The PDR
Engineers organization consists of three divisions:

Environmental
2. Civil
3. Geotechnical
PDR
Engineers has performed environmental services since incorporation.
In 1983, PDR Engineers, Inc. acquired Phoenix Environmental Laboratories
and its laboratory services. PDR Engineers, Inc. is capable of
providing a range geotechnical studies including particle size analysis and
permeability tests. PDR Engineers, Inc. also maintains a fully accredited
asbestos laboratory. The laboratory maintains a full time manager and
a professional staff.
The civil
division of PDR Engineers, Inc. has completed such projects as the Creek
Trail Subdivision, the McKinley Street lateral sewer and water distribution
system, a topography survey for a new security fence at three TVA plants
and field survey and right-of-way design on State Route 12 and the Antioch
Pike Bridge over Seven Mile Creek.
PDR
Engineers, Inc. also has extensive experience in geotechnical
services. The firm has performed these services since 1983.
During this time, PDR has successfully completed projects in over 20
states, including 10 Superfund sites and over 100 UST sites.
