Asbestos Services

 

PDR has inspected, performed sample analysis, air monitored and/or prepared plans and specifications for asbestos abatement and management projects, including AHERA and NESHAPS related services. 

We are an AIHA (#459) accredited asbestos laboratory in the State of Tennessee.  PDR participates in the NIOSH PAT Program (since 1983) and our analysts are listed on the AIHA Asbestos Analysis Registry. The firm adheres to a strict QA/QC program, including 10% recount on bulk and air, 100% recount of all clearances and participation in two interlaboratory round-robins with accredited laboratories.

We are AHERA-certified building inspectors, management planners and trainers. 

PDR Engineers staff members have completed several specialized training programs relating to asbestos abate-ment.  In addition to receiving training from places such as Georgia Tech and McCrone Research Institute, our staff serves as faculty at state universities, taught hazardous materials handling seminars/short courses and worker's training courses.
